First trip to ND

Last weekend we ventured to South Bend for the Stanford game. Well, none of us actually went to the game, but it was the band reunion so we decided to try a road trip to see some great friends.

Milkshake after a Chik-fil-A lunch. Yum!

Sean had fun walking around campus.

In front of the dome.

Teresa's first trip to Notre Dame!

Notre Dame now offers rides around campus on golf carts. Of course Sean wanted to take advantage of this free service. :)

Sean also liked to hijack other people's tailgate games. He had to keep himself entertained somehow, I guess. THANK YOU, EB, for helping watch Sean and keep him entertained while we chatted!

Sunday morning checkers at EB's.

Sunday morning nap at EB's.

All in all the trip went well, but we will probably not be venturing out too far for a while - Teresa just had a limit to sitting in her car seat, and I felt so cruel to not be able to take her out and comfort her during the last part of the trip. But, we made it without too much screaming from anybody, and only a couple of extra stops. :)

Variety pack

Sean decided to get festive one day on his bike. I will try to find a video of this - so funny!

I think this is the first picture of the four of us. Who's that guy lurking in the background?

Oh that's better. Boys on the left, girls on the right.

Sean gives his sister about fifty kisses a day. He is so sweet, and every night he kisses her goodnight and says, "Love you, baby!" or "Love you, Teresa!" Oh another one is, "Love you, Goldbug!" He accidentally called her Goldbug one day, so now that is his nickname for her. (Goldbug is from Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things that Go.)

All dressed up!

I really need to find a picture of Sean yawning at this age - they look exactly alike when yawning!

Typical dinner scene - 50 different things on the table, including Teresa. Well, sometimes she is in the sling if sleeping, but otherwise she's pretty content to hang out on the table.

Snuggle time with Dad.

And now for something completely different - today at the playground there was a chicken roaming around!

River Days

Jeff, Grandma Spoon, and Sean went to the festival last weekend on the Great Miami River. I stayed home with Teresa to rest, since I am still anemic and wasn't up to all the walking and activities.

Train rides are always fun!

First time down a giant slide.

This picture is included just to show you how dry it is here. Look at that grass! You'd think we were in northern California at this time of year.

Looks like he is explaining something here.

Having fun with Grandma.

Mmm.... Flub's....

Here is a shot of the water skiing action.

The boys.

Meanwhile, at home, the new gal, three weeks old tomorrow.

She has some pretty crazy hair. Receding hairline with thin hair on the top front, a spike on the top back, and finally a mullet. Wow she's got it all! :)

playground

The weather has been wonderful the past few days - hopefully we are finally past the 90-degree weather! Today we went to the playground. Teresa slept in the sling (thank you Erica!) the whole time (and the whole day practically, so I should probably go to sleep soon while I can), and Sean had lots of fun.

A snippet of our day.

Sean likes to make giant creations involving Legos, construction vehicles, fire trucks, etc. He was not keen on having his pictures taken today.

Teresa didn't mind having her picture taken.

More pics to come soon - we are getting a new camera sometime this week hopefully, so we will have pictures and videos in better focus!

Go Irish!
