The first few weeks

Continuing on here....

Mom, Dad, and Grandma Foley drove to Champaign to see Sean on his birthday. They waited for quite a while at our house, waiting for the phone call. Finally Sean was born at 3:36 pm. Here is Great Grandma Foley holding Sean later that evening.

Here are my parents, Grandma Foley, and I hanging out in the hospital room (Sean was in the NICU at this point because he had some fluid in his lungs and the doctors wanted to make sure he didn't have an infection).

Here's Jeff in the hospital - he took care of sending out emails to everyone announcing Sean's birth.

Jeff, Sean, and I got to leave the hospital on Saturday the 12th. The care we all received in the hospital was phenomenal, but we were very glad to finally be home!

Jeff's parents came to visit us in Champaign.

We weren't home in Champaign for long - we moved from Champaign to just north of Baltimore at the end of May. Jeff started a new job with Day 1 Studios at the beginning of June.

Here's a photo of us with our best friends from Champaign the night before we left.

Our last day in Champaign was very busy - the movers came and picked up all of our stuff, and then we had to clean the house before we left because it hadn't sold yet. Thank goodness my mom was there to help! I still couldn't do much besides very minor packing and cleaning. So I mainly just took care of Sean.

We drove to Fairfield for Memorial Day weekend on our way to Baltimore. The extended family had a chance to meet Sean. Jack and Rosemary made a beautiful cake (with an airplane on it, of course!) for Sean.

We drove from Fairfield to Cockeysville over two days. We figured we would be pushing our luck to make the whole drive with a three-week-old and two kitty cats in one day. We made it safe and sound to our new apartment. Somehow we got all of our stuff from our 3-bedroom house into a 2-bedroom apartment. Needless to say it's abit cozy. This is what it looked like the day we moved in.

Jeff's mom and brother Paul came to help us unpack the first weekend we were here. We are slowing getting the rest of everything unpacked and in their proper places....
