Cherry blossom festival

We drove to Arlington last week for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Here we are in front of Uncle Paul's apartment at our last visit to him in Arlington.

In the car on the way to the festival.

We took a shuttle from our parking spot to the Tidal Basin. It was so crowded we had to park really far away - it was a pain in the neck, honestly.

Here are the blossoms!

Here is Sean climbing the stairs of the Jefferson memorial. Sorry this one is sideways.

I had Sean in the carrier while we were waiting for the shuttle to return to our car. All of a sudden I felt something warm and wet on my belly.... oops he peed through his diaper! It was my fault because I didn't change him before we left Uncle Paul's apartment. So, we had to do a change right in the middle of the sidewalk, much to the amusement of many people walking by.

On the way out we drove by a place I think Aunt Elizabeth will recognize.

Sean was a good boy and slept in the car on the way there and on the way back. Here's some lovely drool making its way down to his chin.

On a completely unrelated note, here are some stylin' pants I found at a consignment shop.
