Stricker's Grove

On Sunday we headed to Stricker's Grove, the local amusement park. Sean had a great time, although he was exhausted from not napping for two days in a row. Teresa was fine in the sling most of the time.

First up, of course, was the train ride. We saw the train going around the perimeter of the grounds as we parked our car, and Sean absolutely flipped out when he thought we had missed the ride. It took a few minutes to get him calm and to explain that we had to find the station to get on, and then we would ride. Phew! We finally made it. (A snow cone on the way seemed to help - it was in the 80's here!)

Teresa rode along in the sling, one of her favorite places to nap.

Next was the Ferris wheel, which Sean also really enjoyed.

Here they are in the helicopter ride - can you see Sean's hand waving? (It's very hard to take photos of people on moving rides!)

The carousel was also a favorite. I'm surprised he didn't pick a blue horse, since every other thing that day had to be blue, including the snow cone! :)

And finally the racecar.
