We drove to Rochester to visit the Spoons in June. The weather was beautiful, so we spent a lot of time outside. It was lovely!
We went for a walk near Lake Ontario.

Sean found a piece of a 2x4 and decided to throw it in the water to see what would happen. He guessed that it would sink.
Then, he got to test his hypothesis and adjust it accordingly. :)
Uncle Paul climbed out on the rocks, so of course Sean had to follow and practically give Grandma a heart attack watching them out there. :)
He is very brave sometimes getting close to things I'd rather not even look at!
We had dinner one night at a little restaurant near the water. Sean had a blast feeding the ducks and watching the boats come in.
I usually tell him this is not good manners, but, in this case he was keeping himself entertained and not making too much of a mess (eating outside is great with kids!), so I let it slide.
After-dinner play. Ah, to be young, carefree, and energetic....
We had a great visit! Thank you Spoons!

love that last photo!
