Here is a very serious look.
Jeff is interviewing Sean for the position of Office Manager.
Jeff took this one this evening - Sean just started grabbing at things today. So we loaded him up with toys. He made that one on his left arm into a bracelet all by himself!
Something about the look on his face here makes him seem more like a little boy and less like a baby to me. Or am I just imagining things because it's been a long twelve weeks (in a good way except for the recovering-from-surgery part)?
And now, for a few videos....
Sean enjoys putting things in his mouth and chewing on them.
Sean usually has a nightly "meltdown" in which he gets all worked up and loses control. Our job is to do everything possible to calm him down and bring him back to Earth. Usually some combination of swaddling, shushing, singing, and walking him around does the trick. On really difficult occasions the only thing that works is time. Those are the hard ones because nothing that we do for him seems to help.
Now that Sean is 12 weeks old, we are hoping that he will be outgrowing this fussy period soon.
Anyway these videos give you an idea of what goes on....
