A Close Call

We went to visit uncle Paul in Washington, DC yesterday. Paul took us to a public park which is right in front of the runway at Reagan International Airport. It was awesome! The planes flew right over our heads, no more than a hundred feet or so, as they approached the runway. The photo below was taken using Paul's cell phone. Jeff was on the ground, and lucked out with the timing of this shot. Sean and Marie do not appear to be phased by the giant commercial airliner above their heads.

    Holy Cow, Sean is really learning to like the airplanes. What fun! I think we were there yrs. ago. Jeff and Paul, do you remember? Lots to do and see in the D.C. area, that is for sure. Love, Grandma Barbara
