September happenings

Sean started preschool this month. I am so glad we waited until this year - now he is ready and eager to go, and I know if I had taken him last year it would have been a year-long struggle to get him out the door.

He goes three days a week - Wed, Thurs, and Fri.

Sometimes you just need sunglasses at lunch. (We do have a blindingly-bright kitchen light.)

We had MORE yard work done. I think it is now complete. I will pull together some before and after pictures in a future post. It was a long long struggle to reclaim the yard from the weeds and woods that were encroaching on our house! (And I have nothing against woods, but I also didn't want my house to me overtaken by them!)

Bales of hay (or is it straw? I can't tell the difference and don't even know if there is one!) to cover the grass seed. I had to take some pictures of all the equipment since Sean was at school while this was going on.

Goodbye, old Cecil! We had a fun ten years living in five states!

This is the new family vehicle. I would have preferred a change from the bleak gray color, but you don't have much choice when you don't buy brand-new. Anyway, speaking of color, our other car is getting a paint touch up right now, so you will be seeing more car pics soon!

By the way my old car was named Cecil. Any ideas on the name for the new one?

Here is a test for video uploading success. If this works I will start posting more videos.

PS Watch the stick height, Sean! It's getting dangerous over there!
