Boston part 2

Ok I found some more pictures....

Here is Sean watching the birds at the Boston Common while munching on a cracker.

Sean overlooks Boston.

Extreme close up.

Sean enjoyed lounging on the cushy chair.

Sean was also interested in the guitarist.

Just running around.

Here Sean examines the differences between hardwood and carpet with one of Anne's cousins.

Here we are at dinner.

Ok, that's all I've got! Good night.

Boston

Last weekend we flew to Boston to attend Elio and Anne's wedding (Elio and Jeff went to school together in Webster). Congratulations to Anne and Elio! Their wedding was beautiful and everyone had a great time.

Here Sean is yawning already, and the wedding hasn't even started! Luckily he did just fine. There were babysitters in a nearby room so we dropped Sean off so that he wouldn't disrupt the ceremony. He did fine and the ceremony went smoothly too. :)

The wedding and reception were in the State Room overlooking the Boston Harbor.

Grandma Spoonhower, Mom, and Sean. (Sean is not picking his nose, he just puts his finger up to his nose when he's tired.)

Groovin' on the dance floor.

Packing up to go home on Monday morning.

I think I might have some more photos, I'll see if I can dig them up.

Did you know that...

...According to the A.C. Nielsen Co., the average American watches more than 4 hours of TV each day (or 28 hours/week, or 2 months of nonstop TV-watching per year). In a 65-year life, that person will have spent 9 years glued to the tube.

Now you know!

(This was amazing to me - I can't even remember the last time I watched tv!)

Vacation in NY

Last week we went on the Spoonhower family vacation. We put a lot of miles on the car, but thank God Sean was good for the most part. We tried to time our driving with his naps and it seemed to work out ok. Also we got 39 miles per gallon with a loaded car! Who needs an SUV?

Anyway we had a great time, and thanks to the Grandparents Spoonhower for providing us with food, shelter, and entertainment all week.

Sean enjoyed playing with the water and rocks in his bucket and watering can.

He even took the bucket with him in the kayak! Just kidding he didn't really go kayaking, his Mom won't let him until he learns how to swim. He did like to play with the oars though. He dragged them around the yard all by himself!

Josh and Sean enjoyed playing with the rocks in the water. It was nerve-wracking having toddlers who don't know how to swim around water all week, but we survived.

We had dinner at Moosewood in Ithaca. It was delicious!

Here is Dad watching while Mom takes a turn blowing up the baby pool and Sean runs around in his circus-performer-esque outfit. Jeff wore this outfit when he was a tyke, and now it's Sean's turn! I think he looks like a trapeze artist in it. He kind of acts like one too sometimes, so it's fitting.

Here are the boys having a meal.
