Busy busy busy

So, we have been a bit busy in the past month or so - we bought a house! Between inspections, repairs, negotiations, and signing (and initialing) paper after paper, I haven't taken the time to snap many photos of Mr. Sean.

We had to have major electrical work done on the house. So far those are just about the only pictures I have of the house. Sorry! I had a bunch from when we went through it a long time ago, but we lost those. I will take some more soon and post them.

Here is a utility truck in the backyard as seen from the deck. Sean was very excited until one of the workers got up in the cherry picker and starting sawing limbs off of a tree - that was scary and we went back inside!

The house is the last on a dead-end street, so our neighbors on one side are deer. Howdy, neighbors! (Please stop eating the landscaping!)

Here's a photo of Jeff's new office. Well it's not quite done yet. We still need to have the walls replastered, and then we might paint it too. I will post an "after" shot when it's all done.

Afternoon nap.

Sean is quickly learning many words. He recognizes more words than I can list here, and he says a few (shoes, out, noodles, truck, wheels, cheese, hot) and signs a few (milk, water, all done, out, more, empty). He also has signs for other things that he made up himself, but I am still trying to figure out what they mean. For example one day he looked at Grandma H. straight in the eye, and very deliberately put his hand on his mouth and then on top of his head. We still haven't figured that one out!
